Greetings From B. Ellen Designs Vintage Jewelry

Greetings... I have started this blog to share all of the happening at B. Ellen Designs Vintage Jewelry. I don't have a definate plan for this blog other than to share bits of news and stories about the jewerly I acquire to refresh, refurbish, and redesign. You might be aware that I started a blog called Talking Jewerly with B. Ellen Designs...well this is a replacement of that blog. A funny thing happened to the blog....I can't find it on blogspot. I can search for it in google and can find it...I just can't update it. Oh well, that must be my sign to start anew.
Here is how all of this got started...I am a lifelong crafter. This is a gift that was passed onto me from my grandma. I have been sewing, knitting, crocheting, and quilting for years. A few years back, I decided I would try making jewelry. After exhausting all of the resources my local craft stores had, I turned to the internet to find different sources of beads. I discovered vintage jewelry on Ebay. At first, I started buying a few pieces and took them apart for the beads. I then decided that there was alot of jewelry out there that could be brought back to life with a little love. I listed a few pieces on Etsy and wow...has the business taken off.
Today, I sell my refreshed jewelry on Etsy at www.etsy.com/store/bellendesigns or at The Town Peddler Antique and Craft Mall in Livonia Michigan...booth P10. I can be followed on Facebook at B. Ellen Designs Vintage Renewed.
